Opalite | Tumbled Stone
COURAGE | CONNECTION | YOUTHFULNESS
Metaphysical properties
Tumbled stones are small, smoothed and polished either by man or in a tumbling machine. The small yet not to underestimated, still mighty in carrying their vibrations makes the use of tumbles almost limitless. Examples are: carrying on you - in your pocket, bag, or a bra (if you wear one). My personal favourites are popping into a little medicine/material bag to place under pillows or placing in the soil around houseplants. For extensive work the vibrations are soothing and peaceful when applied for healing. Perfect for grids, altar and manifestation work. Tumbled stones fit perfectly in the palm of you hand, making them ideal for Chakra work and can be placed directly on parts of the body.
Crystal properties
Opalite is a man-made crystal, made from iridescent glass resin, with properties of dolomite and metal to creat the opalsecent appearance. Two primary colours, blue and white - this combination forms a unique shine, the outcome is usually clear, or milky. The finished stone is also made to look, yellow, lavender, blue, pink and green colours. Opalite is said to represent clear thinking, new beginnings and to maintain a child-like youthful spirit. It is believed that this stone will balance you yin-yang energies to align with your higher self. This beautiful stone is ideal for healing emotions and said to clear any troubles within your heart, healing hurts and old wounds and faciliates letting go of painful memories. When combined with Blue Peruvian Opal, the two stone will access your third eye chakra opeining up intuition, vision and insight.
